HOUSTON (March 2, 2020) – Respected energy professional, Huston Able, announced today that his consulting and brokerage firm, Able Power Management (APM), will be based in a new Houston, Texas, office. The location will serve as the APM’s headquarters for a full suite of energy consulting, brokering and portfolio management services in competitive retail markets across the United States. The company’s strategic energy solutions will feature market analysis and procurement through a network of retail electricity and natural gas suppliers, including popular renewable energy options, as well as risk analysis, efficiency programs and long-term contract management.

Able has served as a strategic energy consultant since 2003. Over the last 17 years, he has successfully leveraged his knowledge of competitive and wholesale markets to offer a competitive edge to his clients. Based in Houston, he has held positions in the energy sector as Account Manager, Director of Sales, Executive Vice President and Vice President of Sales. Huston is currently serving in his second year as the National Board President of The Energy Professionals Association (TEPA). In his role, Able helps direct TEPA’s mission to help consumers make the best energy procurement choices and to uphold the integrity of deregulated retail energy markets in ERCOT, PJM, NYSIO, ISO and MISO.
